New Groups Fund - 2024/2025

Welcome to Melton City Council’s online New Groups Fund application service.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

STEP 1.  Discuss the project with your group and gain a good understanding of:

  • What types of activities the new group is interested in
  • The main motivations for creating the group
  • Who will benefit from establishment of the new group
  • What the new group is seeking funding for

STEP 2.  View the New Groups Fund Guidelines  to determine if your organisation is eligible for funding.

STEP 3.  Contact the New Community Groups Council Officer to discuss your objectives, plans and any support required while establishing the group.  The New Community Groups Council Officer can be contacted by phone (03) 9747 7127, or email communitytraining@melton.vic.gov.au.

STEP 4. Ensure you have the following documents and information ready 

  • Copy of your Incorporation Certificate (if group is Incorporated)
  • Quotes for items you wish to purchase

 

SAVING YOUR DRAFT APPLICATION

Please ensure you save the application regularly as you go.

If you wish to leave a partially completed application, press 'save and close' and log out.

When you log back in and click on the 'My Submissions' link at the top of the screen, you will find a list of any applications you have started or submitted. You can reopen your draft application and start where you left off.

 

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

You will find a Review and Submit button at the bottom of the Navigation Panel.

Once you have reviewed your application you can submit it by clicking on 'Submit'.

When you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application attached. This will be sent to the email you used to register.
