Community Grants - 2024/2025

Welcome to Melton City Council’s online Community Grant application service.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

STEP 1.  Discuss the project with your group and gain a good understanding of:

  • What the project is
  • What it will include
  • When it will be held
  • Who will be organising it
  • What you want funding for

STEP 2.  View the Community Grants Program Guidelines to determine if your organisation and project is eligible for funding.

STEP 3.  Contact a Council Project Officer to discuss your project.  A list of Project Officers and contact details can be found here.

STEP 4. Ensure you have the following documents and information ready 

  • Your organisations ABN
  • Copy of your Incorporation Certificate
  • Copy of your Certificate of Currency (at least $20 million in Public Liability Insurance)
  • Quotes for items you wish to purchase

 

SAVING YOUR DRAFT APPLICATION

Please ensure you save the application regularly as you go.

If you wish to leave a partially completed application, press 'save and close' and log out.

When you log back in and click on the 'My Submissions' link at the top of the screen, you will find a list of any applications you have started or submitted. You can reopen your draft application and start where you left off.

 

SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

You will find a Review and Submit button at the bottom of the Navigation Panel.

Once you have reviewed your application you can submit it by clicking on 'Submit'.

When you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application attached. This will be sent to the email you used to register.
